I was born into one of the biggest Aasimar villages. We lived on an island far away from any other creature. I never fit in with them. I always wanted to get out, explore the sea. I wanted to find out what was out there away from the sickening goodness of my people. They made their young think that is it selfish and wrong to watch out for yourself. You had to give up your morals if that was what they deemed best for the group. I always thought it was selfish of them to make me give my all to serve them.

Unassuming Places →

This new path led to a very old abandoned building. It was there so long that the whole structure was growing plants all around it and inside as well. It was two stories stacked on top of a decaying structure. Every single window in view lost their glass a long time ago. All the wood it was made with was chipping and the white paint had almost completely peeled away. The balcony on the second floor had half fallen away, the rest of it that was still there was drooping and rotted. Josh wanted to go inside and explore the entire house, but Sebastian convinced him to stick to the first floor. He didn’t think the place was structurally sound enough to try out any stairs. They walked up to the front door, footsteps crunching from all the debris on the ground, and they went inside.

5 Steps I Took To Achieve Self Love →

First and foremost, people, this is a difficult journey. It is going to take a long time and you are going to slip up. You are also a human being, we are flawed by design. Do not fret if you mess up or revert into your old ways for a time. As long as you get back on it you will get there. Then eventually the time in between the slip ups will be so long you won’t remember the last time you cried because you hated the person looking back. That is all you can ask for. Even after you have gone a long time without these issues, you are still going to revert back to them in the future. You are still going to need reassurance once and a while to help boost you up. That is normal and perfectly healthy. It is, however, unhealthy to deny yourself of those things. If this exhausts you take a break and try again later. If you need validation from your friends, family, and/or significant other, seek it and don’t feel bad about it. You are worthy of this love.
